The Beijing Subyway currently has 5 lines in opertion, including Line 1, Line 2(Loop), Line 5, Line 13 and Batong Line. and a flat fare of RMB 2.00 with unlimited transfers applies throughout the metro system. the first train depart terminals at around 5 a.m, and the last trains depart terminals at around 10:45 p.m.

In all station, You can  buy magnetic strip ticket for each indivual ride. (In June 9th,2008, Paper tickets fade out of Beijing subway)

or you can buy a electronial card, which named Beijing SuperPass or Yikatong, with a certain amount of money charged to it, and swipe it on the machine near the clerk is ok. this card needs 20 CNY deposit, We suggest you charge less 50 CNY into it, because you would probably got trouble when you want to request the refund of the deposit.
